My name is Teresa. I'm a performer in Houston, Texas.
...which entails being a card-carrying Equity actor, and a singer. I'd like to think of those things as my "Superman jobs." Hosting karaoke, teaching voice, and dog-sitting are all my "Clark Kent jobs." And, in the interest of keeping up a good metaphor, my kryptonite would include Twizzlers, my two cats, Bennie and Kolache and a well-made mule.
I come from a family of four- all musicians, dancers, and jokers- so it's no surprise that, as the youngest, I had to fight hard for attention. These antics are probably what landed me in theatre in grade school. Eventually, I auditioned for a college musical theatre program, and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston University in 2014. Since graduation, I've performed aboard two cruise ships with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and across numerous stages in Houston. I joined Actor's Equity in October of 2017 with my third production at the Alley Theatre, in A Christmas Carol.
